“Though you have lain among the sheepfolds, yet shall you be like the wings of a dove that are covered with silver, and whose feathers shine like gold.”
Psalm 68:13

look, the Shepherd in the fold guarding the sheep
carrying a lamb and staff, smiling

unworthy to tie his sandals; but even he is humble
a messenger guarding his sheep, smiling

hills dancing while the flowers bloom
streams flowing from the fount of Life

all creation sings songs of glory, glory to God on High
His creation in abundant fulfillment; the fullness of time

arising from an Eastern dry desert wilderness
thorny lote trees with bitter fruit

watch brokenhearted as the sun rises from the West
and returns to the East sevenfold

the dove alights shimmering in the morning sun
silver in the sky, golden in the light.

It is suffering that shoots streams of creativity out of my heart, and the brokenness of life that explodes my heart into its soul.
