"Thus, an accurate diet study is impossible, short of locking people away in a cell and giving them every piece of food they eat."

I am involved in a research study looking at a possible diet connection to Spontaneous Coronary Artery Dissection. There are recent studies regarding pattern recognition in diet recall. For example, the university student working on the data, who later revealed she was diagnosed with RED-S (Relative energy deficiency in sport ) could recall her pattern of eating very easily from over one year ago as well as myself before I experienced SCAD almost five years ago.

Personally, I don't eat anything processed and nothing low calorie or low fat. I cook from scratch including a Muesli multi-seeded bread, and attempt to use all organic. I don't wear sunscreen (don't lay out in the sun, but do hike and enjoy swimming laps outside.) I make my own lotion with shea butter and organic oils. I believe in light exposure (walking outside in the morning without sunglasses), and managing stress. Thanks be to God I have not been ill with any illness including a cold in the past several years (excepting a short, mild bout with Covid after returning from Rome last August- not vaccinated).

Cholesterol is a complex issue. My mother died at 95, had type II Diabetes and high blood pressure, and amazingly no mental decline.

It is suffering that shoots streams of creativity out of my heart, and the brokenness of life that explodes my heart into its soul.
