The Qur'an's verses were indeed taken out of context. The Prophet Muhammad was given instruction and guidance by God relative to the conditions he was addressing during that time period. Most of the verses you quoted are not universal. Perhaps you could share with everyone the verses relating to the Qur'ans rules of war, and how the great jihad is the battle for one's soul and not what most people think it is.
