Shepherd

Keeping watch with angels silence to reflect,

God whispers from Heaven’s deep silence, “Reflect.”

Dusty garments of humility bow down

in reverance for The One, oh reflect!

Immersed in distracting sound and light,

stumbling while entranced on lit screens, can’t reflect.

Seeking solitude, a Shepherd sought a cave,

Truth then revealed for his pure need to reflect.

Listen in silence, O hapless erred humans,

listen you must hear his voice--go and reflect.

His Mercy comes in silent gentle billows,

but you must see, hear, and realize to reflect.

It is suffering that shoots streams of creativity out of my heart, and the brokenness of life that explodes my heart into its soul.
