beep ping sounds of bells check the vacant dream
don’t look around at real sounds, be who’s next

ringing, singing, zinging like pin ball. real
fixation, woops almost tripped, he’s who’s next

isolated heads in virtual clouds
look around, can’t, new text — she’s who’s next

who is god anyway, chasing golden dreams
tap magic buttons it’s mine, free who’s next

eyes down, prayers ain’t up gettin my fix
real time, not prayer time, send key who’s next

distant Allah cries, humanity gone
disappeared in bright screens, but He’s who’s next
