God turns you from one feeling to another
and teaches by means of opposites

looking down
looking up
neither the East nor the West
but both

Jerusalem or Mecca
It’s God, It’s Allah
everywhere
neither to the left or the right
but in all.

It is dark and then light
death and then resurrection;
His Purpose

It is brown or black
white, yellow, or red
it is skin
that doesn’t matter

It is love
it is a place
it is a time
it is neither but all

It is war or peace
but not both
we choose.

Brown eyes, blue eyes
blond hair, brown hair
red or gray

we choose —

better or worse
good or bad
valuable or not

Judging or sensing
outside or inside
the balance
is best

Rich or poor
detach
and you will see

this or that
but both
and neither
it is not two
but One.
